Stephanie Filbay (B.Phty (Hons 1), PhD) is an Associate Professor, NHMRC Fellow, Dame Kate Campbell Fellow and co-lead of the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine stream at University of Melbourne. A/Prof Filbay leads multiple national and international research programs aiming to improve outcomes after ACL injury, including the development of non‑surgical strategies to facilitate ACL healing, and evidence‑based decision aids. Stephanie has delivered more than 100 presentations across 14 countries, has supervised 40 researchers, and has received numerous competitive awards, grants and fellowships recognising her research impact. Her work has shaped contemporary understanding of ACL injury healing potential and informed patient‑centred approaches to ACL injury management. She was recently awarded a consecutive NHMRC Investigator Grant to support a five‑year program advancing evidence‑based management of ACL injury.
