Bronwyn Paynter
Outdoor Health Australia
Bronwyn Paynter is an occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience reimagining what good work looks like – for practitioners, teams, and the communities they serve.
Founder of Nature OT and a Board Director of Outdoor Health Australia, she works at the intersection of upstream health promotion, nature-based practice, and workforce wellbeing, and has worked with occupational therapists across 12 countries.
Before establishing Nature OT, Bronwyn spent 25 years within organisations shaped by merger, acquisition and divestment — including electricity in NSW and community pharmacy and optical across SA, VIC, NSW and WA, in regional, remote and metropolitan settings. This experience navigating cultural integration and change informs her team development approach and understanding of the human complexity beneath every business strategy.
Bronwyn draws on community development principles to engage all team members in shaping clinic culture and direction, and brings both the evidence and the lived experience to make ideas land.
