Prof. Greg Bain

Professor Greg Bain is an internationally recognised hand and upper limb surgeon based in Adelaide, with more than 25 years of experience specialising exclusively in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery. Greg is Professor of Upper Limb and Research in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Flinders University of South Australia, and provides upper limb orthopaedic services to Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Hospital. Greg is widely regarded for his contributions to research, surgical education, and innovation, with an extensive publication record and multiple textbooks in upper limb surgery. He is particularly known for his work in arthroscopy and minimally invasive techniques, and for advancing anatomically based approaches to treatment. Recognised among the world’s leading researchers, he continues to teach and mentor surgeons globally while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
